The Indian Women fascinates me.Her ability to give,share,bear,nurture,cook,work,qualities of head and heart,adjust are just some of the qualities that I admire.She has done great service to religion by preserving age old traditions,moral fervor and spiritual vein in our society.

This essay is dedicated to the Indian women.As a nation we progressed when the Indian woman was accorded her rightful place in society.It is my belief that India will progress much faster if a greater number of women are educated and financially independent .Let us resolve to allow her to blossom in mother India.
In India gender disparity is high.Crimes against women are increasing.Women are facing new problem like workplace harassment.Female infanticide is increasing in our country.

As said by our first prime minister today's women have changed the worlds way in which they look at us and our country. Today many woman are well educated and they are now into different professions. They manage the team,show leadership qualities,act tactfully during crises and what not .U hardly find a industry/sector where u wouldn't find women.
Even women played a role in developing missiles as quoted by MR.ABDUL KALAM in one of the gatherings.In politics too they play a significant role,to name a few Sonia Gandhi, Sushma Swaraj and Prathiba Patil are cited as powerful politicians. They are passionate about the work they do and opened new dimensions in their life .They now have the right to protest against assaults and discrimination on them.Stringent and strict action is taken against those who abuse women.This change has brought up a new light in the face of women and they began to compete with men in all sectors and industries and paint there mark in a more pleasing way.
Agriculture which is considered to be the back bone of India is getting more and more feminized. Comprising the majority of agricultural laborers, women have been putting in labour not only in terms of physical output but also in terms of quality and efficiency. In universities/colleges the percentage of women enrollments has increased over the decades and this shows the change in the mind set of the parents in educating their female child.

Woman have played a great roles as mothers. Though busy with their competitive world around.They don’t neglect their family and personal life. I personally think with out women the world will not go ahead ,behind every man's success there is a woman I hope the country will take every step to empower its women and have a developed India very soon.
